Observation details

Unusual colored woodpecker came to the peanut feeder. The woodpecker was a dull black and off white color. Not a crisp black and white as expected on a Hairy or Downy. There was a yellowish wash on the belly and yellow on stripes around the head. It brought to mind a hybrid Hairy Woodpecker and Red Bellied Woodpecker. It is probably just an aberrant colored Hairy Woodpecker. Photos
