Observation details

Very quick tour of Doha by car with a guide. Flock of about 25 gulls on the pier, on the water and flying. Several were Slender-billed Gulls and several were Black-backed. I did not have time to count each of them. The sui generis shape of bill and head of the Slender-billed Gulls immediately noticed. There were gulls in various plumages (breeding/non-breeding/immature), individuals with reddish legs/bill as well as yellow legs/bill, eyes light (yellow with/without red ring), tails totally white or with black tip. Bad picture with the cell phone, but general features, bill (light/yellow), light eye, discernible.
