Observation details

Was pulling weeds in the garden when I heard a strange noise. I saw a large bird flying towards my yard, and the woodpecker landed at the top of a dead pine tree bordering my yard. Vocalized and stayed for a few minutes, allowing for great looks by my parents and I. Was able to get audio and photos while crying. Definitely not a bird I thought I would ever see in my yard!
