Observation details

Heard the explosive, spluttering song from the dense thicket across the path from the pond. I was pretty sure what it was, having seen/heard these birds many times in AR, MO, and OH. Merlin couldn't figure it out, though, and it's been years since I've observed a White-eyed Vireo, so I was glad it eventually popped up for a brief visual and photo.
