Observation details
**Rare seasonally and regionally scarce. Immature male in transitional plumage. Large passerine,overall soft reddish/orange with limited but noticeable yellowish/green splotches. Olive green wings and red tail and slightly peaked head with massive yellow bill. Spotted creekside behind Chapel in mid and upper level branches gleaming grubs and giving great views. LIFER and much anticipated NYS # 350!! Photos TBA.
