An adult female African Goshawk engaged in a territorial aerial display, soaring in slow circles while repeatedly vocalizing. Vocalizations documented in attached sound recording as well as alarm calls of nearby Grey Go-away-birds reacting to the goshawk's presence. Recording originally made in Merlin; species not identified by the app at the time. Confidently identified in the field as African Goshawk based on visual and vocal cues.
