Observation details
Continuing. Noticed owl flying low to the ground on south side of trail between gazebo and loop junction. It landed in an area where we had good looks with spotting scope. Small round owl, tawny color, long legs, white throat, intensely staring yellow eyes, in appropriate habitat. Thanks to J. Nehring for reporting this on 4/17. See photos.
