Observation details

Continuing birds sitting in a tight flock on the far side of the basin. Large chunky shorebirds, mostly gray above and pale below with some streaking on flanks and chest. Bold black and white pattern in wings seen on 1 bird when it stretched its wings. Long straight bills. Undoubtedly “Western” Willets.
