Observation details

Singing from top of burnt mesquites dropping to ground occasionally calling. First saw at main parking lot, then followed it down trail towards river where it foragaed near south parking area next to road/bridge. Plain gray breast, gray face, rufous cap with line through eye, peach bill, black neck lines. and small dab of rufous on shoulder wing. Chipping sparrows nearby to compare.
