Observation details

All in breeding plumage. Medium sized gull with black cap, white eye arcs and dark red to red bills. I checked for any rarities in the flock but it seems homogenous. Surprising variation in bill color, ranging from dark red to brighter red in some individuals. Also some individuals had a slight roseate shade to the breast. Beautiful birds.
