Observation details

At the very end of the road, moving around the grass making detection difficult at best. First picked up in flight as an eagle flushed a group of dabblers, red head and big white wing patches immediately stood out and I was able to get good but distant views eventually. Male Wigeon with solid red head, pale forehead, and pale gray body. Light pink chest. Brendan, Matt, and I were able to get great scope views as well as some photos which leave a lot to be desired. Associated most of the time with flock of AMWI. Flushed a couple times, eventually settled down to graze with some CANG.
