Observation details

Larger and chunkier than KILL. Molting individual, likely male, not yet in full alternate plumage. Black belly, but white under tail. White forehead, but white “judges wig” not yet fully evident. In flight, obvious black axillaries. Studied through binoculars and spotting scope for 30 minutes or so as it moved around locally. See photo.
