Observation details
This is a conservative count. They were On the ground in the fields, on fence posts, and on the giant watering apparatus. Many took flight in the time we were there leaving to continue their journey. They took thermals up and were mixed with 8 ravens and a turkey vulture. Quite a few were still on the ground or perched when we left. Unclear how long they will be around.
