Observation details

A leucistic individual, lacking melanin, continuing on the river (Yeguare River) at a spot where I have documented it several times over the last year or possibly in multiple years. Now it is in full breeding plumage but instead of black spots on the underparts, it has light gray spots, the same color as the upperparts, which are paler than normally plumaged birds. It was bathing and preening in a riffle and I made a video of it there.
