Observation details
Confirmed molting royal penguin. Likely record. Midsized penguin with white face, thick bill, and yellow crests. Rough condition of feathers, and surrounding guano and shed feathers indicates molting. Rockhopper Penguin ruled out due to white face, Chinstap Penguin ruled out due to yellow crests.
