Observation details
#05 1726 RTHA Juvenile on the southeast transmitter farm at the northwest corner of Broadway and West 207th Street (616 West 207th Street) facing uptown along the street. Broad, dark belly band with a light eye. No rufous coloring on its chest, typical of young hawks. Still there by 1743. • Plus 0: Juvenile with similar markings and a fuller crop in a tree just east of the top of the staircase along Park Terrace West from 1900 facing Isham Street. Turned to face West 214th Street by 1907. Still there by 1922 when it flew to the middle of three trees on the west side of Bruce’s Garden. At 1926 it headed to the western evergreen on the south side of Bruce’s Garden and at 1928 it flew to the south side of the evergreen just east of the previous perch. Still perched facing the east side through 1932 at the extreme southeast corner of the garden. Looks like a roosting spot for the evening. • Sunset according to the NOAA Solar Calculator (hope DOGE doesn't take this site down) is 1906.
