Observation details
I left my SD card reader at home over break, so I can't get my camera photos in yet, but I did put some phone-binocular photos on iNaturalist, which should be identifiable: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/266481286 This was a male flicker that stood out for having very yellow wings. When he dropped onto the saturated field to forage, I had great views of a prominent red crescent around the nape and a red mustache that was very dark, almost black.
