Observation details

Continuing in the same location as reported yesterday. Chunky bird with pale gray back, smooth white under parts, thick black bill, and black ear patch. Moved around a lot, continually flushing with the other shorebirds but always returning. Seen foraging directly along the shoreline and also way out in the middle of the cell as well. Extensively viewed at close and far range. Photos.
