Observation details
Continuing. Withheld report until the bird had left the area because it has been seen hunting and resting on the ground in an easily accessible area. All photos/video were captured at great distance from the road via digiscope. Observed owl take a short flight between two spots on the ground. After landing the owl proceeded to eat prey, which I'm not sure if it had just caught or if it was already carrying the prey.
