Observation details
>=2; One adult with buffy edges to median coverts and small tail and rather indistinct streaking on the crown and mantle (unlike Richard's and Blyth's); one juvenile (indicated by the extended gape of the mouth) with small tail, buffy edges to median coverts BUT streaking throughout the upperside (crown, mantle and lower back). Also, it's very unlikely that a juvenile of a migratory pipit species is seen. Both have marked lores. Reference: https://birdcount.in/identifying-paddyfield-pipits/
