Observation details
Compared to nearby Ring-billed gulls, it was noticeably smaller with a noticeably darker mantle, finely streaked head and neck and a short thin yellow bill with a very faint dark spot on the lower mandible near the tip. This is the third adult SBGU, I’ve found at this location.
