Media notes
A "typical" breeding season song of a Yellow-rumped Warbler. Contrast this more rapid, complex and "trilly" song with the slower, simpler but higher-pitched "alternate" song uploaded below.
Observation details
Including two singing males heard on either side of the mouth of Beech River, singing notably higher pitched but slower, less complex songs than typical (later heard on Echo Island where the alternate song could easily be contrasted with the other males on the island that were singing the more typically rapid, "trilly" and complex song. Both songs will be uploaded (the more complex song was recorded 9 days earlier, but was still being regularly heard on the island today).
