Observation details
#06 1613 RTHA Adult perched in the London Plane (genus Platanus) just south of the West 174th Street entrance with two American Crows calling continuously. Dark streaking in the middle of an otherwise white throat. • Plus 0: The hawk left a tree on the east side of the park and was attacked immediately by a crow. It settled on the first tall tree south of the soccer field facing east then turned to face west. Still there by 1630. American Crows back at 1621 and left shortly after. Lifted at 1630 heading towards the west side. • Plus 0: It then headed west past the Haven Avenue apartments then uptown at 1631. • Plus 0: One to the ladder on the northeast side of the water tower off of the dog run by 1635. Still there by 1648. Off by 1649. • Plus 0: Adult heading downtown east of Cabrini Boulevard and West 177th Street then uptown and towards the east side by 1733.
