Observation details
Plumper than Killdeer, size closer to Black-bellied. Wings broad and rounded, white near wingtips and beneath. Wispy crest; dark chest band, orange crissum. Green iridescence on upperparts. Tended to stay with Killdeer flock, catching insects that it stirred up from the grass. Seen from North Road in field south of Windmist Farm.
