Observation details
Five Neotropic Cormorants were seen perched on pilings of a broken down pier jutting out into Eagle Lake on the east end of the lake. These birds looked different and I noticed the tails seemed longer than Double-crested. We took a photo for ID purposes and the blow up of photo clearly shows the white lines outlining the dull orange face pouch on the center-most bird. I assume all five birds are Neotropic. There were Double-crested Cormorants seen flying around in the vicinity but not close enough to compare size. Photo is included.
