Observation details
One individual. Seen in small field adjacent to road's fence, from about 50 meters away. Foraging in ground, caught a worm that wasn't frozen! Green, iridescent back plumage. Large, killdeer-like appearance/behavior. Plume on crest of head. Orange/brownish wash to vent. White ventral side. Black facial markings.
