Observation details

Continuing? Diving duck with white head with black spot, pink and black bill, and long black tail. Diving a lot when first observed from boatramp at the start of checklist out toward the (currently submerged) island with Cypress trees. Observed from near overlook in same area preening and bathing. Observed at the end of checklist from boatramp continuing to feed in same area. My recollection was that the pair (and then single) that was around in December/January were noted as female plumage, this one clearly a male. There was a sighting of a possible male in January.
