Observation details

First seen casually in a fruit farm, the second time I saw it, it was under a dark area under the building, a single storied height. The area was very damp and had pools of waste water. It would often venture out of the bushes nearby and would simply stay on the ground. Apart from during escaping, the bird prefers hopping than flying. It would often jump from the reeds on to the ground and starts hopping and feeding. Mainly feeds from areas with high levels of moisture. Not very shy, it would venture out into the open if someone is present. It would often be cautious when someone is coming towards it, but wouldnt do much more than stare. If no disturbance is present, it would rather stay in the damp soil than reeds
