Observation details

Recordings and photos. Small rufous screech owl with fine retuculations on belly with yellow eyes. Call was a melancholic and constant “hooo” made every 2 to 5 minutes. Called first by cabin #7 inside bamboo patch. Then moved down stream responding playback
