Observation details

Continuing bird. Juvenile, with brown head and big white wing patches in flight. Mostly in the woodlot behind the grey barn, also spent quite a lot of time on the ground, associating with flock of blue jays. Seen well, for repeated brief stretches as it flew between the ground and the woodlot, then after about an hour it came to the pole and perched chattering for about two minutes - beautiful! A lifer for me! Short section of chattering recorded and uploaded here.
