Observation details
immature bird, sitting on a pile of logs, quite close, but had to view through/around fence so only got one angle on the perched bird. Immediate impression was Goshawk, but debated about it possibly being a Cooper's Hawk mostly due to the lack of a distinct white eyebrow. Very large (appeared more rough-legged hawk size than crow-sized), speckled back, heavily streaked all the way down front to undertail. Only had side view of tail, but it appears to have a faint white outline to the stripes on the tail.
