NOTES: Sound category: unknown Notes: Bird was recorded when it landed on fence post near me. Vocalization was very low "chucks' with some louder calls that are distorted. This is a poor recording because of the ambient noise. [The first part of this recording appears to represent the "Chipper" Call of BNA, but it does not seem typical of this call. The second part begins with the "Chip" Call before grading into the "Chipper" Call, which continues after the announcement in more typical fashion. "Winnowing" can be heard in the background of this last part. Quality changed from 2, 1-2 to 2-3, 2 (the very end of the recording is quality 3-2) - CAM - 14 December 2004]. Other Behaviors: Scold. Habitat: Grassland, Freshwater, Montane Grassland, Meadow, Swamp, Pond.
