Observation details
Once again, I had an absurd number of GPCH. At the same spot, I pulled up and flushed a couple smaller flocks and found a decent flock out in the agricultural fields. It ultimately flushed where I saw the entirety of the flock, which I grabbed a video with my phone and counted roughly 950 individuals. I heard some STGR calling in the mix while in the field, but after looking through horrible photos I only found a few. Around 100 of the individuals landed in the copse of trees and very few were STGR (which were already perched in the trees, as well). After this, I drove down the road a couple miles and flushed 2 separate flocks of around 100 GPCH (one counted in the field with 104). This is truly the supreme spot for wintering chickens.
