Observation details
Adult male. Lighter blue wings and head+neck suggest Prairie subspecies, while stronger malar stripe (stronger than in most Prairie) point to Taiga (though it seems on the weaker side for Taiga). After looking at a lot of photos of males of both species, I'd guess this is a Taiga-Prairie intergrade more towards the Prairie end of the spectrum.
