Media notes
NOTES: I encountered this pine marten while following fledgling Great Gray Owl onto the Bridger-Teton National Forest lands from Carolyn Jensen's cabin on Bronco Road, Wilson WY. As it is just after dawn, I assume the owls were going to roost in the forest. The pine marten moved up a tree trunk with a few dead stubs on it where it continued to vocalize. Two owls came in to the same tree, apparently curious aout the marten, landing on a small dead stub just a few meters above the marten. The marten alternately scolded me and scolded the two owls. These owls vocalize throughout the recording. Other Behaviors: Scold. Habitat: Forest, Evergreen Forest, Coniferous Forest.
