Observation details
*Rare. A small gull with a very small bill, darker wings than the Ring-billeds, lots of dark streaking on the head. Separated from Common Gull by the relative amounts of white and black on the flight feathers (I am told; the first photo below is the one Tim Healy used to ID the bird on the GroupMe chat.) Seen and photographed by multiple observers; I will add my photos forthwith. Thanks to Adam Vinson for finding the bird, to David Ringer for getting me on it, to Mary Beth Kooper for the scope view and to Tim Healy for the ID conformation. Lifer.
