Observation details

Photos. Rich got recording of it calling. Same bird that Lalla and Sally reported. Feeding right along the river in the low flooded vegetation, at the coordinates of this checklist. Dull grayish olive overall, same color palette as adjacent Ruby-crowned Kinglet. Center of belly yellower, and throat grayish, but not strongly contrasting with grayish-olive breast and sides. Eye ring white, only barely wider in rear. Primary projection long. Bill narrow. Head peaked in rear. Actively flicked wings and tail together several times after landing.
