Observation details

Continuing adult. Fairly small gull, slightly larger than Ring-billed Gull and with noticeably darker gray wings and back. Dark eyes. Small yellow-green bill with some faint darker smudging near tip. Dull yellow-green legs. Outer wing pattern shown in attached in-flight photo: large white spots at tips of outer two primaries forming white “windows”, extensive black coloration on p8.
