Observation details
First time seeing - not 100% sure. See photos (sorry so blurry). Through the binoculars, they looked exactly like the pictures on Cornell's "all about birds," especially the video with the blue background. Similar to the northern mockingbird, but bigger with a heavier bill and without the white squares on the wings and without the tail flicking. Similar shape and color to the eastern phoebes, but much bigger, with an exceedingly yellow belly and a dark line from bill across eye. Also, Merlin sound ID'd them. They were perched on the power lines and on the tops of trees.
