Observation details

Possible Winter Wren!! Actively calling/chattering in willow/alder lined creek bottom. Only able to get poor recording (attached). Not giving typical "Song Sparrow" alarm calls, but did not sound like a Pacific either; Pacific calling nearby upstream. Did see very briefly - "stub tail" wren which seemed browner than typical Pacific. Audio Recording Notes: Recorded with phone and Merlin app; no matches found (but did pick up Pacific later). Operator error in saving clearer recording than uploaded here. Listen "below" calling juncos during full duration of attached recordings. First attachment raw while second copy has been partially "normalized".
