Observation details

Have been hearing this call in the neighborhood the past several days. Still no sightings, appears to be coming from a yard that is fenced in. Calls loudly, often around dawn and dusk. Took a bit to figure out what it was — pretty sure now it’s a Japanese Quail (?) Audio attached.
