Observation details

At south end of hotspot in riparian corridor near Academy Drive (32.99178878281957, -117.26030268114134). Similar in appearance to Northern Waterthrush but with a whiter eyebrow that widens toward the back, whiter underparts with only a little cream color on flanks, and an unmarked white throat. Bill also seemed larger and streaking on breast appeared less dense than would be expected for Northern. Call was distinctly different from Northern, more of a flat "tik" than a metallic "tink".
