Observation details
The two Hawks were perched in large trees, at the wood line far across an open field. About 200 feet apart. The one in the picture, I believe was a Red-shouldered Hawk. I could plainly see the black and white bands on the underside of it’s tail with binoculars. The other one was about the same size but a much paler color, almost completely white on its breast. Possibly an immature of the same species.
