Observation details

Considered likely to be a second-cycle Little Stint (first alternate plumage in prebasic moult). Features that support Little Stint over Red-necked Stint include: 1) long and thin legs (particularly the tibia), 2) hunched shoulders, 3) relatively straight bill eventually tapering to a fine point, and 4) a small head with a distinctly finer neck and a sloping forehead.
