Woodpeckers of the World. Delaware Mus. Nat. Hist. 4:1-676) and six slower series of "Wuk" Calls. Fast series are given at 0:16, 0:44, 1:47, 2:45, 3:11, 3:48, 4:16, and 5:02. Slower series, all but the last of which are decapitated, are given at 1:51-1:57, 2:07-2:10, 2:11-2:18, 2:26-2:37, 3:32-3:36, and 5:36-5:41. There is a single "Wuk" given at 3:29. The last part of the recording (5:42-6:40) combines single "wuk" calls (5:475, 5:53 (two), 5:56) with what appear to be the rasping calls of a juvenile. Quality changed from 2, 2-3 to 2, 1-2 (BEST part is at 3:48-5:41, though last part does approach 2-3 in quality) - CAM - 9 May 2005].
