Observation details
Photographed this morning by Greg Whittaker. Presumed same bird I encountered Dec 6th. Small, closer in size to a COHA. More agile than a CRCA, seemingly lighter on its feet. Bare skin on face smaller and somewhat restricted anterior of eye, almost bright white with a shade of pink. Petite bill, and dramatically less decurved than a CRCA. Neck and belly light mocha/darker cream or pale buff, with heavy brown streaking. wings when folded were dark. Bird was last seen over the RV park adjacent to the Soccer fields complex headed NE.
