Observation details

Surprise to see a raptor flying out from downtown Marina over river. Long winged raptor with long, narrow tail and bold white tail band at base of tail. A young bird with the dark brown and burnt orange tones on uppers and underside. Facial disc visible a couple times. Flew across the river and lost it somewhere around the white tent on the Canadian side. Have some distant pictures.
