Observation details
Flew away from road edge 50 feet in front of our vehicle. Flew crossed a narrow slough and perched at the edge before moving into the high grass. Seen by all three observers. Relocated and got photos. Found a second bitter out in the open just 40 yards further down the levee and got good photos of it.
