Observation details
Found this morning by Aaron Beerman. Thanks to Mike Johnson for helping us get on the bird. Photos to be added. It was foraging with Canadas in the fields just southwest of Bob’s Lake (west side of the interstate), but flew off with the group heading north. The group appeared to land somewhere in farm fields on the east side of the interstate north of exit 298 but we couldn’t refind them. Bill appeared to be on the shorter side with a small band of orange (not visible in photos but was occasionally visible when the light hit it right), consensus currently is Tundra but happy to change if it’s determined this isn’t a Tundra.
