Observation details
We owe Lizzie F (finder) and David Orluck an incredible experience with a Snow Bunting right next to the parking lot (41.1633217, -124.1330396) at Big Lagoon County Park. Unmistakeable bird, much white coloration underneath, orangish hues on head, wings. Long, dark wings, mostly black primaries with crisp white edging. White rump tinged with buff on top and bottom. In flight, obvious white wing patches. Didn't vocalize. Great looks and (just a few) photos attained.
